【Beginner Tutorial】How to register and use Discord and Midjourney

Learn how to use the Midjourney bot on Discord to create custom images from simple text prompts. 1. Join Discord Go to www.midjourney.com , select "Join Beta", or go directly to the Midjourney Discord . Before joining the Midjourney Discord server, you must have a Discord login account. 2. Find newbie channels

3. Use the /imagine command

About Discord commands Use commands to interact with Midjourney Bot on Discord. Commands are used to create images, change default settings, monitor user information, and perform other useful tasks. The /imagine command generates a unique image from a short text description (called a hint). Use the /imagine command: 1. Type /imagine prompt: into the chat box or select the /imagine command from the slash command popup . 2. Describe the image you want to create in the "prompt" field. 3. Hit the Enter key to send the message. If you don't see the popup when you enter the /imagine command, try logging out, updating the Discord app, and logging back in. This directive can only be used in bot channels, not regular channels (such as #trial-support).

4. Processing tasks It takes the Midjourney bot about a minute to generate the four options.

A job is any operation using a Midjourney robot. Work includes creating image grids with the /imagine command, zooming in on images, or creating image variations, all using your free trial time. Check your quick time remaining with the /info command to see how much time you have left on your trial.

5. Promote or create variants

After the initial image mesh has been generated, two rows of buttons appear: The U button will upscale the image, generating a larger version of the selected image and adding more detail.

The V button creates a slight variation of the selected grid image. Creating a variant will generate a new image grid similar to the overall style and composition of the selected image.

After zooming in with the image, a new set of options will appear:

After the initial image grid has been generated, two rows of buttons appear: Beta/Light Upscale Redo : Re-upscale with a different frequency model. Web : Open an image from your gallery on midjourney.com .
