How to Install a Progressive Web App (PWA)
What are PWAs?
A Progressive Web App (PWA) is a website that you download to your device and use like an app. An installed PWA can continue to be used without an internet connection.
The installation process varies depending on your operating system and web browser.
Install PWAs on iOS
PWAs can only be installed using the Safari web browser on iOS. First, navigate to the website in the Safari browser. Press the "Share" button and select "Add to Home Screen" in the pop-up window. Finally, click "Add" in the upper right corner to finish installing the PWA. It will now appear on your home screen.

Install PWA on Android
The default Chrome browser is capable of installing PWAs for Android. First, navigate to the website in the Chrome browser. Press the "three dots" icon in the upper right to open the menu. Select "Add to Home Screen". Press the "Add" button in the pop-up window. The PWA is now installed and available on your home screen.

Install PWAs on Windows PC or Mac
Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge currently have the best support for PWAs on Windows and Mac OS. The installation process for both browsers is very similar. First, navigate to the website you wish to install as a PWA. If the site is a PWA, there will be an icon to the right of the URL bar. Click on that icon, then click on the "Install" button. Alternatively, you can also install a PWA from the "three dots" menu.
On Windows PCs, the PWA will be available in the Start menu. On Mac, PWAs will appear in Launchpad and Spotlight Search searches.
