Microsoft hints that Win11 Copilot will soon support third-party AI plugins
According to Windowslatest, Microsoft is about to launch the third-party AI plug-in feature of Windows 11 Copilot and is seeking feedback from developers to help shape the future of the operating system's "third-party AI plug-in." The media has previously reported that Windows 11 Copilot is testing Inbox, ChatGPT, and Bing AI first-party plug-ins.
In a recent survey distributed to developers, Microsoft confirmed that the Windows Copilot feature on Windows 11 will support third-party plug-ins . The survey, titled "Windows Copilot Plugins: Your Opinion Matters," aims to gather insights from eligible developers. Microsoft plans to interview qualified developers through a 30-minute Microsoft Teams call, and the company hopes to gather valuable feedback on the plugin's integration with Windows Copilot.
According to previous reports, Windows Copilot was launched by Microsoft earlier this year to provide users with a centralized AI integration that can be easily opened from the taskbar and consistent across all applications and windows, acting as a ready-to-use personal assistant. Like Bing Chat, users can ask Windows Copilot various questions.
