Forbes released the top 100 cloud computing list: OpenAI ranks first, AI is "redefining" the industry
On August 10th, on Tuesday local time, Forbes, together with two venture capital firms, Bessemer and Salesforce, released the list of the world's top 100 private cloud computing companies.
The list shows that OpenAI topped the list "unprecedentedly" and this is the first time the company has been on the list ; big data giant Databricks ranks second, up 33 places from last year, surpassing the current third-ranked financial giant Stripe for the first time and Canva, an image processing platform headquartered in Sydney, Australia, ranked fourth. This year's list includes several debut companies, most of which have benefited from the boom in the AI industry .
Among them, 16 AI startups entered the list, including Anthropic at No. 73 and Midjourney at No. 85. Data shows that 55% of this year's top 100 cloud computing companies have incorporated generative AI into their products. Forbes bluntly stated that from OpenAI to Stripe, AI is "redefining" the cloud computing industry .
