According to the National Academy of Television Arts & Scienes, the rescheduled “50th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards” will air on Friday, Dec. 15 and be broadcast live at 9 p.m. ET/delayed PT on CBS.

The ceremony was originally scheduled to take place on Friday, June 16, but was postponed due to the now concluded writers and actors strikes.

“We are pleased to set this new date with CBS for the Daytime Emmys to celebrate our golden anniversary,” said Adam Sharp, president and CEO of NATAS in a statement.

He added, “We know the loyal fans of daytime television have waited patiently to properly honor and recognize all of the deserving nominees and we look forward to the celebration we have all been waiting for.”

During the broadcast, Daytime Emmy Award winner Susan Lucci (“All My Children”) will receive Lifetime Achievement Honors, the website indicates.

Former talk show host Maury Povich will receive his award at the Daytime Creative Arts & Lifestyle ceremony, taking place the next day, Saturday, Dec. 16 at noon PT, and will be available to stream online at watch.TheEmmys.tv.

Both events will be held at the historic Westin Bonaventure Hotel in Los Angeles.
